Short description of the AVS&C team around the World

Dominique R. Antonini is Consulting Engineer, Director, Business Development, for AVS&C HQs based in Europe. In 2009, he became AVSEC Coordinator/Officer at Geneva International Airport and member of the ACI Europe Security Committee.

Worked 15 years with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) at different positions, including Chief of the Aviation Security Section, and Chief of the Aviation Security, Facilitation and MRTD policy programmes. Main memberships from 1991 to 2007:

· ICAO Aviation Security Panel*, ICAO Ad Hoc Group of Specialists on the Detection of Explosives*, ICAO International Explosive Technical Commission* (*including Secretary position for ICAO)

· ICAO Technical Advisory Group on Machine Readable Travel Documents

· ECAC Security group and IATA Security Committee

Launched the ICAO Aviation Security Training Packages (ASTPs), created the ICAO/Concordia e-learning Management Programme (MCP or PMC), managed and expanded the ICAO Aviation Security Training Centres (ASTCs) as well as the ICAO AVSEC Mechanism.

D.R. Antonini holds a civil aviation engineering diploma from the Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile, Toulouse, France and several certifications/diplomas in the aviation security (and marketing, management) including ICAO/Concordia CM.
